AsOfAcceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 29 March 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing your use of the AsOf platform. This AUP supplements and forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. Permitted Use

The platform is designed for institutional and professional use, including:

  • ●Blockchain balance verification and reconciliation for reporting purposes.
  • ●Historical balance snapshots for period-end reporting and tax preparation support.
  • ●Reconciliation of wallet balances against third-party custody or accounting reports.
  • ●Portfolio monitoring and treasury management across multiple blockchain networks.
  • ●Reading your own organisation's QuickBooks Online or Xero data, read-only, into AsOf or an AsOf-enabled Google Sheet for reporting and reconciliation.

3. Prohibited Use

You must not use the platform to:

  • ●Facilitate, support, or participate in money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any financial crime.
  • ●Scan wallet addresses for surveillance, harassment, stalking, or any purpose that violates the privacy rights of others.
  • ●Conduct competitive intelligence gathering by systematically scanning wallets known to belong to competitors.
  • ●Attempt to de-anonymise blockchain participants, except where required by law and where you have a lawful basis.
  • ●Overload the platform through excessive API calls, denial-of-service attacks, or abuse of scan quotas.
  • ●Share, resell, or redistribute Scan Results or access credentials to unauthorised third parties.
  • ●Use the platform to provide a competing service or develop a similar product.
  • ●Upload malicious code, scripts, or content designed to compromise security or integrity.
  • ●Connect a QuickBooks Online or Xero company you are not authorised to connect, or use a connection to read data for anyone who is not entitled to see it, including by sharing a Google Sheets workbook bound to your entity with people who should not have access to that company.
  • ●Attempt to use AsOf to change, delete, or write to accounting records, or to bypass AsOf's read-only access, rate limits, or the limits of your QuickBooks plan.

4. Wallet Address Legitimacy

By submitting wallet addresses for scanning, you represent and warrant that:

  • ●You have a legitimate business reason to scan each wallet address.
  • ●You have obtained any necessary consents or authorisations required to process the wallet address data.
  • ●You will not submit wallet addresses solely for the purpose of tracking, surveilling, or harassing individuals.

5. Fair Use

Scan quotas are set per subscription plan. We monitor usage to ensure fair access for all customers. If your usage significantly exceeds normal patterns, we may contact you to discuss an appropriate plan adjustment. We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily suspend access in cases of extreme overuse.

6. Your Legal Obligations

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform is lawful in your jurisdiction, including with respect to anti-money laundering (AML) legislation, financial services regulations, data protection laws, and sanctions regimes.

7. Data and Pricing Disclaimer

USD valuations in Scan Results are derived from third-party pricing oracles. Prices are retrieved on a daily basis and cached. Where pricing data is unavailable for a given token or date, the balance will be reported with a $0.00 valuation and flagged accordingly.

Prices reflect broad market averages and may differ from prices on any specific exchange. Low-liquidity tokens may have unreliable or stale pricing. Newly added tokens may lack historical pricing for dates prior to their addition.

Token prices and USD valuations are approximate and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial reporting, tax calculations, or investment decisions. You should independently verify all pricing data against primary sources appropriate for your jurisdiction and reporting requirements.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to jono@asof.xyz.

9. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including issuing warnings, temporarily suspending access, or permanently terminating accounts. Decisions will be communicated to the affected customer and may be appealed by contacting jono@asof.xyz within 14 days.
